Focusing on the standard slacks 'LIBRA', the differences and attractions of 'LIBRA MILANO' and 'LIBRA MODE' are introduced.
'LIBRA' is GENTLEMAN PROJECTS' classic on/off slacks! introduction of design points
The standard slacks 'LIBRA' have been popular since the start of gentleman projects.
Point 1 of LIBRA: "A three-dimensional silhouette with a high degree of perfection"
'LIBRA's most important feature is its beautiful silhouette. The centre crease was corrected many times during the development stage to ensure that it would not collapse even when worn by multiple models of different heights and leg shapes. The silhouette has a three-dimensional feel. While thicker trousers can easily achieve a stooping silhouette, LIBRA has a smart silhouette with a tapered shape. It neatly balances the silhouette of the lower half of the body and creates an urban mood.
Point 2 of LIBRA: "Well-balanced appearance for on/off use"
The detail design is also a key point, finished with an exquisite balance between ON and OFF use in mind. One pleat at the front creates the mood of classic slacks and adds a sporty taste. The design is achieved by combining detail designs with different tastes, such as the drawcord specification on the inside. The use of metal zips used for jeans and other casual trousers is also unique to LIBRA.
Point 3 of LIBRA: "Hybrid gabardine is used to accelerate the contemporary mood"
The fabric, which greatly influences the impression of the item, is also carefully selected. Hybrid gabardine is used, with the warp yarn made from SUPER100 wool for an elegant look and the weft yarn made from stretchy T400 for a comfortable fit. This fabric combines the elegant look of wool with the functionality of polyester. It is also moderately water-repellent.
Based on the above points, the 'LIBRA MILANO' and 'LIBRA MODE' models have been developed by adding arrangements. Next, focus on the 'LIBRA MILANO'!
'LIBRA MILANO', a slightly dressed-up version of LIBRA with a grown-up look
The 'LIBRA MILANO' follows the silhouette and details of the 'LIBRA', but is dressed up with a slightly more grown-up look by incorporating the tailoring used in classic slacks.
LIBRA MILANO is different in (1) "the use of 'kusutori' gives it a more dressy and beautiful silhouette"
'LIBRA MILANO' uses the "kusutori" (ironing) process, known as the ironing process used to prepare fabrics, which is mainly used for full-custom-made suits, for the crotch. This creates a silhouette typical of dress slacks, with less crotch lean and a stooping hem. It is said that "kusetori" is rarely adopted in ready-made slacks because it does not produce an extreme difference and is a process that requires considerable time and effort, but 'LIBRA MILANO' uses it as a device to make them look casually dressy.
LIBRA MILANO is different in (2) "permanent processing allows the centre crease to be kept longer!"
Centre crease for a smart silhouette. The 'LIBRA MILANO' has a "permanent press process" that gives it pleat retention through heat treatment. This keeps the centre crease in place for longer, saving you the hassle of ironing every time you wear it.
LIBRA MILANO is different in (3) "the exquisite detail changes that can be seen when looking closely give it a subtly minimalist and elegant impression"
The detailing has been casually changed to a different specification to that of 'LIBRA'. The one-pleat and drawcord decorations are retained. The belt is switched to give it a minimalist look, with minimal stitching visible on the surface. The silhouette and pocket layout have also been reconfigured in millimetre increments to enhance the dressiness of the garment. The fabric is also made of a hybrid gabardine with a more delicate look. The result is a finish that will give those who already wear 'LIBRA' and those who prefer dress slacks a convincing sense of 'difference' when purchasing.
'LIBRA MODE' is a mode face version of 'LIBRA'
The new type of trousers sublimated into a mode face while following the beautiful silhouette, one-pleat specification and drawcord details of 'LIBRA' are 'LIBRA MODE'.
LIBRA MODE is different in (1) "SOLOTEX®︎ high-density twill polyester is used for the fabric !"
The same twill fabric structure as LIBRA's hybrid gabardine, but with a change of material to SOLOTEX®︎ for a mode atmosphere. The touch of a shaggy material with a glossy moistness is addictive. The excellent form-stability and recovery properties ensure that the beautiful silhouette of the slacks can be maintained for a long time. The heavy bounciness of the high-density twill also tickles men's fancy.
LIBRA MODE is different in (2) "the drawcord can be taken outward and inward in a 2-way specification!"
The drawcord detail introduced as one of LIBRA's point. The drawcord of 'LIBRA MODE' is arranged in a 2-way specification that can be taken outwards or inwards. The drawcord hole is discreetly placed under the belt loop, so there is absolutely no discomfort even if you hide the drawcord and wear it without a belt. You can use the drawcord accent to suit your mood.
LIBRA MODE is different in (3) "add detail design to improve functionality!"
It is also noteworthy that it adds a functional detail design that is not found on LIBRA. The d-rings are ideal for hanging a key case or a wallet chain, while the shirred waistband makes them extremely easy to wear. All of these subtle detail designs give the garment a decorative yet sophisticated appearance when worn.
Choose the best 'LIBRA' to suit your taste and mood!
While the base models are all 'LIBRA', they all have different tastes, so enjoy the best model to suit your personal preferences. It is recommended to buy several models and wear them according to your mood.
