The new urban knit 'WOOSTER DRIVERS KNIT' from the WOOSTER series. The knitted fabric has a three-dimensional, urban look and feel, with a beautiful silhouette. We picked up as many essential points as we could think of in order to continue wearing knitwear for a long season, and repeatedly examined combinations of materials and knitting fabrics that fulfilled the requirements. The special yarn blended to meet the above-mentioned conditions is then knitted in a single-sided knit to create this sophisticated-looking driver's knit.

The silhouette is adjusted to a size that is a little roomier than just right for use as outerwear or as an inner layer for a roomy coat. The silhouette is such that the shoulders drop 1 to 2 cm compared to a typical cardigan, and the length is not too long so that it can be worn as a highly versatile casual blouson rather than as a mode.

The stand-up collar is designed to be worn around the neck. It is designed to stand on its own even when unzipped, adding a three-dimensional effect around the face. During the sample stage, a Japanese model with an average body shape of a different neck length actually wore this knit, and we paid close attention to the balance between the feel and the silhouette.

The "double-zip" specification, essential for drivers' knitwear, is finished with a shiny slider plate for a luxurious, urban look. To maintain the sophisticated impression of a driver's knit, the pockets are conveniently fitted with side pockets, a time-consuming process that involves hand-curling and fixing the pouch fabric so that the pocket seams do not show on the surface.

The classic "moulded knitting" and "linking" processes are used to slowly and carefully finish the knit, allowing you to enjoy the essential texture of the knit and a modern look.
